Two organically grown Elderberry varieties for spring planting, propagated from our farm. Both varieties are adaptable to a wide range of soils, fast growing, reaching a height of about 8'. They make great jams, pies and wine. The Wyldewood I cultivar is a 2010 release, noted for its high yields of fruit, and have white flower heads that can reach 12" across. Adams II is an old time cultivar known for having the sweetest flavor of the elderberries. The harvest season for Wyldewood I is 2 to 4 weeks later than Adams II. We recommend planting two varieties 6 to 8' feet apart for best fruit production.
